Agarwal Gyan Kendra (AGK)
AGK’s vision is to build better communities by providing critical skills and vocational education that changes the livelihoods of whole families. We achieve this by focusing on upskilling promising individuals (or students) that truly have the motivation and desire to improve their personal capabilities, but lack the financial resources needed to do so. After students are upskilled through our regimented programs, we help them obtain well paying jobs that leverage their new skills, so they can earn a better living, for themselves and their families. This serves as the primary catalyst that changes the livelihoods of students and their families, and ultimately leads to improved economic prosperity for the communities in which they live.
Over the past 12 years, AGK has upskilled over 3500 students, with positive outcomes for all cohorts. For example, the greater majority of our Tally ERP cohorts have reported that they’re earning a better living.
Agarwal Gyan Kendra was started in 2010 by Sri Bhasker Deo Agarwal, a U.S.A.-based entrepreneur who was born and raised in district Faizabad (now Ayodhya), UP India. Mr Agarwal is proud to create sustainable opportunities in his birthplace for motivated youth to succeed.
AGK is solely supported by Hiralal Agarwal Foundation (USA), the non-profit foundation Mr. Agarwal founded in memory of his father, Sri Hiralal Agarwal, and it is managed by PANI.
